Empowerment Assessment Instrument

The Gavares Group's "Empowerment Assessment Instrument" is used to help people understand the concepts and components of empowerment, to assess their own level of empowerment and that of their staff, the degree to which supervisors create an empowering environment, the level of empowerment in the organization, and to develop personal development plans for themselves and their subordinates. Empowerment is a combination of responsibility, authority & accountability, and the assessment instrument identifies the employees level of empowerment.

John has used the instrument with over 500 workers and students, often as part of his "Empowering Yourself and Your Workforce" Workshop. This is a highly interactive, fun and practical workshop designed to explore the subject of empowerment and specific tools for empowering yourself and your team. Participants discuss different perspectives on empowerment, and learn the principles and techniques for empowering themselves and their staff. Specific outcomes will include:
