Decision Dynamics Assessment Instrument It goes without saying that people make decisions in markedly different ways. It's good that there are differences, as no one style of decision-making will fit every situation. Any style that works well in some situations will run into problems in others. The diversity of styles poses challenges for organizations and people who must deal with this diversity. The Decision Dynamics Assessment Instrument allows people understand the different decision-making styles, themselves and the team members they interact with. The assessment instrument is based on the decision-making framework developed by Dr. Michael Driver of USC. The model assesses the amount of information one typically uses to make decisions, and whether one tends to identify one best solution or multiple options. Based on this framework, five primary styles of decision-making are identified.
The Decision Dynamics Assessment Instrument is completed on the Internet, and participants see their results immediately. John helps participants understand the results and uses the instrument as a spring board for team-building and leadership development.
